Mary Lou Simpson, 91, of Cecil, formerly of McDonald, died Monday, December 17, 2018, in Victoria Manor, Oakdale.
She was born December 31, 1926, in Washington, a daughter of the late Casemir and Marie Toulouse Rocher.
Mrs. Simpson was a graduate of Cecil High School and cosmetology school and retired from the credit office of J.C. Penney Co.
She enjoyed knitting and taking care of people. She was the baby sitter for her great-granddaughters for many years.
Surviving are her granddaughter, Rochele (Jim) Reitlinger; great-granddaughters Elena and Mia Reitlinger; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Simpson, whom she married April 19, 1950, and who died in 1966; son Donald Simpson; daughter Denise Laughlin; and brother Edward Rocher.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of service, Friday, December 21, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
