Donna J. Wright
Donna J. Wright, 75, of Daisytown, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in her home, with her loving husband at her side, following a brief illness.
She was born January 1, 1943, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Oiva and Anne Hill Johnson.
Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and canning, gardening, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, listening to music and caring for her many pets over the years. Her greatest love was for her family, watching her grandsons play baseball and camping with her family in Smithport.
On May 22, 1963, she married Harry Wright Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Renee Colaizzi (Leo) of Bridgeville; three sons, Brian Wright of Daisytown, John Wright of Columbus, Ohio and Harry Wright Jr. (April) of Brownsville; sister Janet Fabean (Rick) of Belle Vernon; former daughter-in-law, Sabine Vogel Wright of Columbus; and five grandchildren, Katherine Vogel, Elisabeth Wright, Joshua Sampson, Ian and Eli Wright.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is infant son, Nicholas Wright and brother, David Johnson.
Friends will be received Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, with Pastor Stephen Dunlap officiating.
