Joseph G. “The Waterman” Dzurko, 77, of Charleroi, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 12, 1941, in North Charleroi, he was a son of the late Joseph P. and Mary Startz Dzurko. A lifelong resident of Charleroi, Mr. Dzurko was Catholic and was retired from Municipal Authority of Belle Vernon and also drove bus for Hilltop Bus Lines. He was a member of Pricedale Russian Club and Charleroi Slovak Club and was a social member of Charleroi American Legion Post 22.
He is survived by wife Regina Murphy Dzurko, to whom he was married 47 years; two sons and daughters-in-law Joseph V. and Amy M. Dzurko of Charleroi and Michael A. and Amy L. Dzurko of Avella; granddaughter Sarah Dzurko; brother Edward Dzurko of Monessen; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his infant brother, Dennis Dzurko.
