Michael A. Barzanti, 57, of Dilliner, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 21, 2018, in his home.
Born April 18, 1961, in Waynesburg, he was a son of the late Richard J. Barzanti Sr. and Margaret G. “Peggy” Courtney Barzanti.
A 1979 graduate of Mapletown High School, he also graduated from West Virginia University.
Michael worked for more than 30 years in restaurant management, including 12 years at Lakeview Resort and Conference Center in Morgantown, W.Va.
Surviving are his two brothers, Richard Barzanti Jr. and William Barzanti and wife Kerryann, all of Dilliner; nephew Alexander Barzanti; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. A private family gathering will be held, with burial in the family plot in Highland Cemetery, Davistown.
