CHARTIERS

Assault charge: Kyler Edward Livingston, 27, of 113 Chesnic Drive, Canonsburg, was charged by Chartiers Township police with simple assault following a domestic disturbance Christmas Day at a residence in the 500 block of Hickory Lane. Police said that about 6:17 p.m., Livingston allegedly slapped his stepfather’s neck and pushed him. He was arraigned Christmas night by District Judge Mark Wilson and jailed on $5,000 bond.

MARIANNA

Assault charge: Matthew Louis Reda, 34, of 134 Walter St., Uniontown, was charged by state police with simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct after a domestic incident last week at a residence at 86 Fifth St. Police said that about 10 a.m. Friday morning, Reda allegedly grabbed a woman’s phone and refused to give it back to her, before throwing it against a wall, shattering the screen. Police said Reda then allegedly slapped the woman in the face, grabbed her by the arms and threw her onto a chair, into a Christmas tree and onto the ground. While she was on the ground, police said, Reda allegedly kicked her in the eye with his foot. Police said the woman had a swollen cut on her eye, a bruised bicep and a cut on her elbow. Reda was arraigned Friday afternoon by District Judge Larry Hopkins and was released on a $25,000 surety bond.

MONONGAHELA

Theft charge: Chelsea Nichole Woodson, 21, of Chesapeake, Ohio, was charged by Monongahela police with theft, obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct following an incident Saturday morning at her parents’ residence in the 200 block of Gregg Street. Police said Woodson’s parents refused to give her the keys to her car because she didn’t have a license, the car was not insured and she allegedly owed them $1,500 for getting it out of impound. Police said when they arrived, Woodson told them, “I’ll drive it, I don’t really care what ya’ll say,” the criminal complaint said. Police said that while they were still at the house, Woodson stole her father’s truck keys and told him, “You’ll never see these again,” the criminal complaint said. Police said that when they arrested her, Woodson swore she didn’t have the keys and said “please don’t do this on Christmas,” the complaint said. Police said she was given several chances to return the keys but didn’t until she was on her way to jail. Police said she stated, “I don’t need this, I don’t want to go to jail.” She was arraigned Saturday afternoon by District Judge Larry Hopkins and jailed on $25,000 bond.

NORTH STRABANE

Disorderly conduct charge: Diane Ndayishimiye, 29, of Buffalo, N.Y., was charged by North Strabane Township police with two counts of disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and three summary traffic violations following a noise complaint at Candlewood Suites on Meadowlands Boulevard just before 3 a.m. Sunday. Police said Ndayishimiye had a warrant out of Georgia and a vehicle with an expired Florida registration. In the parking lot, police said they noticed marijuana in her vehicle. Police said the woman began yelling for about 15 minutes in the parking lot, waking numerous guests in the hotel. Police said she then sat in the road, blocking traffic, before they had her taken to Canonsburg Hospital by EMS. Police said that about 6:15 a.m., they were called to the hospital because she was causing a disturbance and lying on the floor in the emergency room.

WASHINGTON

Resisting arrest charge: Anthony Ray Christmas, 39, of 103 W. Walnut St., Washington, was charged by Washington police with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at his residence Dec. 19. Police said Christmas’ probation officers were about to arrest him for a violation, but he resisted them. He was also found to be in possession of a crack pipe, police said.

Drug charges: Brian James Demichelis, 37, of 519 Fayette St., Washington, was charged by state police with driving under the influence, illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and four summary traffic offenses following a traffic stop in November on Basset Avenue. Police said that on Nov. 11, Demichelis had stopped his car to pick up a table that had been left alongside the road. When police pulled him over, he allegedly told them he was under the influence of Oxycodone. Police said they found him to be in possession of a crack pipe, a bag of suspected cocaine and three stamp bags of heroin. Police said Demichelis tested positive for cocaine, morphine, Oxycodone and fentanyl, among other drugs.

Drug charges: Seth Thomas Skariot, 25, of 125 North Ave., Washington, and Adrienne Marie Jennings, 30, of 755 Dodds Ridge Road, Wind Ridge, were charged by state police with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Franklin Street in Washington Nov. 23. Police said that during the traffic stop, they found Skariot to be in possession of a needle and Suboxone strips. He was additionally charged with two summary traffic violations. Police said Jennings had a warrant for her arrest and was found to be in possession of two pipes and a needle, which she had hidden in her underwear. She was charged with an additional count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Disorderly conduct charge: William P. Molinaro, 50, of 214 Castle Road, Washington, was charged by Washington police with disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident Dec. 4 at Nick’s Tobacco Outlet in the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue. Police said Molinaro had re-entered the store after not receiving change, became angry, threw change at the clerk, knocked over merchandise displays and jumped over the counter. Police said the employee behind the counter “detained” Molinaro until police showed up to make an arrest.

Drug charges: Amber Nicole Brantley, 23, of the 500 block of Liggett Avenue, Monongahela, was charged by state police with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop Dec. 10 in the 1000 block of Jefferson Avenue. Police said Brantley’s registration was suspended and she had an arrest warrant out of Westmoreland County. Police said they found a marijuana pipe in her purse and a small amount of marijuana in her vehicle.
