Grant B. Williams Jr.
Grant B. “Ike” Williams Jr., 75, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Country Club Manor, Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born February 24, 1943, in Burgettstown, a son of the late Grant Sr. and Irene Price Williams.
A graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by J&L Steel and retired from Reid Plastics Inc.
A devoted father and grandfather, he is survived by daughters, Maureen Howard of Toronto, Ohio, and Tanya Williams of Washington; son, Grant Williams III of Washington; sisters, Ann (Ralph) Smith and Pearl Williams of Aliquippa; brothers, James McCormick of Greensboro, N.C., and Edward McCormick of Steubenville; seven grandchildren, Adia, Laicee, Gloria, Jazmyne, Tyler, James and Cassandra; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown. Burial with full military honors accorded by the U.S. Army will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
