Laughter, creativity and icing flowed during an annual gingerbread event at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Southpointe for kindergarten students from Canon-McMillan School District.
About 40 students from Hills-Hendersonville Elementary School created ornaments, iced cookies and decorated gingerbread houses that will go on display inside the hotel.
Hilton Garden Inn has hosted the event for Canon-McMillan students since 2002, a year after the hotel opened.
