Emma Jane Redlinger, 86, of Washington, died Thursday, December 20, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born January 17, 1932, in Freeport, a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Sweeney.
Mrs. Redlinger was a graduate of Freeport High School.
She was a full-time mother and wife.
Mrs. Redlinger was Presbyterian.
On August 12, 1953, she married William A. Redlinger, who died October 24, 2011.
Surviving are a son, Robert W. (Milana) Redlinger of Washington; a daughter, Robin D. (Mike) Ardeno of Washington; four grandchildren, Matthew (Holly) Ardeno, Andrew Ardeno, Samantha Redlinger and Erik (Nikki) Redlinger; two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Connor; and a brother, Robert Sweeney of Sarver.
Deceased are four brothers and three sisters.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, director, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at noon Monday, December 24. Private interment will be held in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Concordia Hospice of Washington, Donnell House, 10 Leet Street, Washington, PA 15301.
