Regarding our speed bumps, I’m quite pleased to see the editorial staff of this newspaper take another swipe at the citizens, and the elected officials, of East Washington Borough (Hist & Misses, Jan. 19). Once again, that “Miss” is really a “Hit,” a slap, that is. You all just won’t let it drop! Go on, keep this topic in the public eye; I will also. The $2,000 loss from PennDOt is a small price to pay for safety and perhaps a life saved.

I must conclude that you folks are speeders, for they are the drivers who dislike our bumps.
