Mary Louise Davis, 83, of the Thomas Campbell Apartments, Washington, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Premier Washington Health Center.

She was born October 4, 1935 in Everett, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Fred and Helen Clark Riley.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Hart Avenue Church of the Nazarene.

She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, and collecting bells, and stamps.

On March 22, 1956 she married Lawrence Davis who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Lawrence “Steve” Davis Jr. of Washington, and Danny Davis of Franklin, KY; two daughters, Debbie Jenkins of Washington, and Cindy Davidson of Portland, TN; a brother Fred Riley Jr. of Bulger; 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Deceased are two daughters, Tammy Jo Davis, and Debbie Bennett; and two sisters, Shirley Stom, and Maxine Johnston.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, director, 420 Locust Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2019. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
