Samuel Trapuzzano, son of Shawn and Ben Trapuzzano of Washington, was named to the fall president’s list at West Virginia University, with a 4.0 GPA. The finance major is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, WVU Chimes Honor Society, Phi Sigma Theta Honor Society, Career Readiness Program, National Society for Collegiate Scholars, and The Society of Collegiate Leadership & Achievement. He is a student assistant special teams football coach. A 2016 graduate of Trinity High School, he is the grandson of Beverly and the late Sam Romano, and the late Ben and Elizabeth Trapuzzano.

Alexas Iams, daughter of Jana and Todd Iams of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Washington and Jefferson College, with a 4.0 GPA. A math/economics major, she is an Alpha Beta Scholar, member of National Society of Leadership & Success, Sigma Alpha Pi, and Alpha Lamda Delta National Honor Society. Alexas is a 2017 graduate of Washington High School. She is employed at the Brownson House.

Deanna Lesso, daughter of Barbara and Randall Lesso of Canonsburg, was named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg. She is a visual and performing arts major with an emphasis in music with a minor in education. The 2017 Chartiers-Houston High School graduate is a member of Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society, Delta Psi Omega National Theater Honor Society and member of the Distinct Voices A Capella.
