Death of baby found in Chartiers under investigation
Chartiers Township police and the Washington County coroner are investigating the death of a baby found about noon Wednesday in the 700 block of North Main Street.
Coroner Tim Warco said the death of the 5-month-old did not appear to be suspicious.
The baby was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where it was pronounced dead, Warco’s office said.
Additional details about the case were not immediately available Wednesday night.
