The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that a section of Interstate 70 will be restricted to one lane in each direction between mile post 13.80 and the West Virginia/Pennsylvania state line beginning Tuesday through May 31. The restriction is attributed to Tunnel Ridge long wall mining activity under a section of the interstate. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 m.p.h. Motorists are advised to be alert for changing traffic patterns and to expect delays.
