John P. Lefebvre

John P. “Paul” Lefebvre, 88, of Titusville, formerly of Midway, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in Titusville Hospital.

He was born December 18, 1924, in Midway, a son of the late Victor and Mary Bain Lefebvre.

Mr. Lefebvre was a coal miner with Consolidation Coal Co.

He was a member of Center United Presbyterian Church in Midway and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching sports.

Mr. Lefebvre was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served as a heavy machine gunner at Paris Island.

Surviving are children John R. (Mary) Lefebvre of Midway, Kathy (Wendell) Neely of Titusville and Melisa (Rich) Dami of McDonald; grandchildren John (Barbara) Lefebvre, Douglas Lefebvre, Matthew (Heather) Neely, Brett (Nicole) Neely and Luke Dami; and great-grandchildren Justin, Bennett and Johnna Lefebvre and Sarah, Bree and Ty Neely.

Deceased are his first wife, Delores; his second wife, Alma; a stepdaughter, Connie Swarthout; grandsons Chad and Ryan Neely; and a sister, Audrey Rivetti.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway, 724-796-3301, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11.
