The Ringgold School District Council of PTAs will hold a “meet the school board dandidates” event at 7 p.m. May 7 at the high school cafeteria. The 14 candidates for seven school board seats in the May 21 primary have been invited to participate in the nonpartisan forum that will allow citizens to suggest questions that will be screened and asked by a moderator to each candidate. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and residents can submit questions on cards by 6:45 p.m. The forum will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an informal reception.
