Betty V. Sgarrella Mahouski
Betty V. Sgarrella Mahouski, 86, of McMurray, peacefully passed away Sunday, February 11, 2019.
She was born May 22, 1932, in Pittsburgh, to Dominic and Annette Sgarrella. Betty graduated from South Hills High School.
She married the love of her life, Wally Mahouski, January 24, 1953, and has been happily married for 66 years.
She was one of the founding members of St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, McMurray.
Also surviving are three children, Keith, Michelle Kent and Beth; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Betty loved them all and the Catholic church and the Catholic way of life. She will be truly missed by all.
Funeral arrangements are by Beinhauers, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 14, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Everyone is asked to meet at the church. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray.
