A chicken and biscuit dinner will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at West Alexander Methodist Church located on Main Street. Take-out will be available. A love offering will be accepted.

Chartiers-Houston Community Library will welcome area award-winning children’s author “Uncle” Dave Howard at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2. He will discuss stories, books and the fun of reading.
