Joshua Kostyak, son of Denise and Shawn Kostyak of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Slippery Rock University. The 2017 Trinity High School graduate is a safety management major. He is the grandson of Edward and Marie Uniejewski of Washington, and Frank and Betty Kostyak of Harrison City.

Tritan Plute, son of Amy and Tim Plute of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Pittsburgh with a 4.0 GPA. This is Tritan’s third consecutive time being named to the dean’s list. A neuroscience/pre-med major with a minor in creative writing and chemistry, he is a member of MEDLife, American Medical Life Student Association (AMSA) and National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Tritan is a 2017 graduate of The Linsly School in Wheeling. His grandparents are George and Patty Molinaro of Washington.
