Adam Weinschenker, son of Amy Weinschenker of Waynesburg and James Weinschenker of Washington, was named to the fall president’s list at West Virginia University. A sophomore civil engineering major, he is a 2017 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School. Adam is the grandson of Carolyn McMillan of Waynesburg, and Donald and Sue Weinschenker of Rices Landing.

Jarred Rice, son of Lisa and Jason Rice of Washington, was named to the fall dean’s list at Washington and Jefferson College. The full-time business and accounting major was the assistant football coach for the Trinity Hillers fifth- and sixth-grade football team that recently won the WGYFL Championship, assistant coach for the Trinity Hillers seventh- and eighth-grade football team, and is now the assistant junior high wrestling coach for the Trinity Hillers. Jarred is a 2018 graduate of Trinity High School and grandson of Gerri Franks of Washington, and Floyd and Phyllis Phillips of Avella.
