CUMBERLAND

Theft charge: Joseph E. Bogucki, 49, of 170 Maple St., was charged by township police with theft for allegedly stealing 25 loads of firewood worth about $2,500 from a residence on Hill Road March 22.

FRANKLIN

Drug charge: Brent Thomas O’Connor, 29, of 205 S. Pine St., Carmichaels, was charged by state police with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance after he allegedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant July 18 in the McDonald’s parking lot on Sugar Run Road.

Welfare fraud alleged: Mary J. Albright, 55, of 133 S. Morris St., Waynesburg, was charged by the state inspector general with welfare fraud after she allegedly received $850 in benefits between April 2018 and August 2018, but failed to report she was employed at the time.

Vehicle stolen: Adrienne Marie Jennings, 30, of 755 Dodds Ridge Road, Wind Ridge, was charged by Greene County Regional police with two counts of theft and driving under suspension after she allegedly stole a car from a residence on Browns Creek Road March 17. Police said Jennings allegedly had an agreement with the owner to clean his residence for money. She allegedly stole his vehicle while he was sleeping. Police said the man had about $5,000 worth of tools in the vehicle along with a pistol. When the man messaged Jennings on Facebook, asking her why she took the van, she allegedly responded “I’m sorry,” according to the criminal complaint.
