Simple assault charge: Timothy Brown, 23, of 162 Hoovers Run Road, Holbrook, was charged with resisting arrest, simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, harassment and marijuana possession after Cumberland Township police said he got into an argument with his girlfriend and fought with two other men at a convenience store at 973 S. Eighty-Eight Road in the township shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday.

JEFFERSON

Burglary: A residence in the 900 block of Castile Run Road in Jefferson Township was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday and about $1,800 worth of valuables were stolen, state police said.

WAYNESBURG

Drug charges: Elijah McLachlan David, 20, of 1397 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property, four counts of possession of a controlled substance and passion of drug paraphernalia after Waynesburg police said they found him with a stolen gun and various drugs at 52 W. Greene St. in the borough Nov. 27.
