West Newton Center for Active Adults will hold a one-day bus trip to Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, April 27. Depart Bible Alliance Church parking lot at 5:30 a.m. and Belle Vernon Park-n-Ride at 5:45. In Cleveland, take a trolley tour, shop at West Side Market, have lunch at Sokolowski’s University Inn and ice cream at Mitchell’s Cream, and shop at the nursery in Breezewood Gardens. Jefferson Township Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 16, in the White Church building located on Fire Road across from the fire hall. The program, “Looking Back – Photo Family Stories,” will include audience participation. Share old photos and stories. The museum will be opened following the meeting. Refreshments will be available.
