Pipeline rally Tuesday in Harrisburg

A citizens rally, Safety over Sunoco (SOS), will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Harrisburg, in the Main Capitol Rotunda of the capitol building.
Volunteers have organized the rally, which will be followed by an at 11 a.m. news conference featuring two eastern Pennsylvania legislators — state Sen. Andy Dinniman and state Rep. Danielle Friel Otten — and members of the newly formed bipartisan Pipeline Safety Caucus.
The rally will focus on pipeline safety bills introduced by Dinniman, Friel Otten and others and in light of issues raised by Sunoco/ETP’s Mariner East project.
