CANTON

Two charged: State police charged Patrick C. Adams, 32, of South Franklin Township and Leslie D. Molinaro, 53, of Washington with various offenses after a trooper approached them outside the Dollar General on Henderson Avenue. The trooper allegedly spotted a glass pipe beside Molinaro’s foot while she was sitting in a parked vehicle. Adams, who allegedly gave the trooper a fake name at first, was holding nine stamp bags, a syringe and a glass pipe when he got out of the same vehicle, according to court papers. Adams was charged with drug possession, having drug paraphernalia and giving false identification to law enforcement. Molinaro was charged with having drug paraphernalia. Both were charged by summons from District Judge David Mark’s office.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Theft alleged: Christopher S. Smith, 39, of 341 Cleveland Road, North Franklin Township, is charged by state police with access device fraud and theft, court records show. Police accuse Smith of stealing a banking card from Dolly Post and using it Jan. 2 to steal $652 from her. Police filed the charges Friday before District Judge Robert Redlinger.

WASHINGTON

Man charged: Zachary Anthony, 26, of 32 Dogwood Drive, Canton Township, was charged by city police with escape over allegations he failed to return to Washington County jail Nov. 30 while on work release, court records show. The charge was filed Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Man charged: Nicholas Lesjak, 35, of 286 Ewing St., Meadow Lands, was charged by city police with escape over allegations he failed to return Dec. 19 to Washington County jail while on work release. The charge was filed Thursday before District Judge Robert Redlinger.
