McCleery – Parkulo

Charles and Beth McCleery of both West Alexander and Wheeling, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessie Cortlandt McCleery, to Adam Richard Parkulo, son of Dave and Lisa Parkulo of Beckley, W.Va.

Jessie is the granddaughter of Robert and Violet Forrest of Washington, and the late James and Martha McCleery of Washington. Adam is the step-grandson of Betty Parkulo of Beckley. He is the grandson of the late John and Arlene Hess of Fort Pierce, Fla., and the late Frank and Winifred (Windy) Parkulo of Beckley.

The future bride is a graduate of the Linsly School of Wheeling. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree is psychology. She then entered the Occupational Therapy program and went on to obtain a master’s degree in occupational therapy from West Virginia University. She is employed by Theracare as a pediatric occupational therapist.

The future groom is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bluefield State College. He went on to obtain a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Liberty University. Adam is employed as a district manager of the Great Lakes Region for JTI.

An August 10, 2019, wedding is planned in Wheeling.
