St. Pat’s PJAS competition

Seventh- and eighth-grade students from St. Patrick School in Canonsburg participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science (PJAS) competition on Saturday, Feb. 9, at California University of Pennsylvania. Pictured from left are: John Joyce – 2nd place, Ryan McFetridge – 1st place, Casey Ramirez – 1st place, Jack Lochran – 1st place, Kasen Killen – 1st place, Addison Hancq – 1st place and Isabella Street – 2nd place. Addison had a perfect score and received a special award for Physics in the Junior High Division. Preparing the students for this competition was science teacher Mrs. Fix. All 1st place winners will have the opportunity to participate at the State PJAS Level in May.
