This world needs more Chuck Andersons.

Anderson has taken it upon himself to begin renovating the old Crouse School in Center Township.

The Crouse School was built in the early 1900s and it has slowly become dilapidated as time and weather have caused significant damage.

The Greene County Historical Society Museum and members of the community are trying to renovate the school. The museum has owned the building since 1986, but because of budget cuts from the state, it has not been able to start the renovation process until now.

After restoring the front porch, Anderson commented, “It would be a shame to see this place collapse.”

Keep up the good work, Mr. Anderson.
