Wild Things roll past Grizzlies
The Washington Wild Things erupted for 21 hits in a 19-4 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies Sunday in a Frontier League game.
Washington had leads of 12-2 after two innings and 16-3 after five.
Hector Roa went 5-for-6, drove in six and scored four times. He hit two of Washington’s five home runs. Cody Erickson hit one home run, went 4-for-6, drove in three and had three RBI. Wander Franco and J.J. Fernandez also homered.
