Heritage Craft Butchers is expanding to Waynesburg.

Butchers/partners Bob Von Scio, Jared White and Wes Cannon will open their store at 1462 E. High St. at 4 p.m. today. This will be their second location, following the Christmas week opening of their butcher shop/store in West Bethlehem Township, outside Marianna.

A post on the business’ Facebook page said store hours, for the first few weeks, will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Customer traffic, according to the post, will determine whether those hours change.

The Waynesburg location is next to Rite Aid, across the street from Pizza Hut.

The owners said they will “focus on staple items that most people purchase on a weekly basis. Our product line will grow over time.”

They added that all of their meats “are locally sourced and everything is made at our Marianna location, from scratch . . . or by a local vendor.”

Dairy items, coffee, soaps and other products also will be available.
