Stalking: State police said they are investigating a report that someone placed a “micro camera device” on the outside of a teenage girl’s bedroom window. Nearby trail cameras didn’t record anyone at the residence.

Assault alleged: Jessica Lucill Mattheus, 23, of 213 Vine St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with simple assault over allegations she punched her roommate, Jesse Dzugan, several times in the head about 6:20 p.m. Sunday in their residence, court records show. Mattheus is free on $1,000 bond set by District Judge Robert Redlinger.
