Landen Watters

Landen Watters, 20, of Rices Landing, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, July 7, 2019, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Cumberland Township, Greene County.

He was born April 25, 1999, in Uniontown, a son of Craig S. Watters and wife Judy of Rices Landing, and Shilo L. Vernon Brock and husband Curtis of Waynesburg.

Landen was a 2017 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and worked in construction as a rock truck driver. He enjoyed art and was a car enthusiast. Landen was a good-hearted, kind, respectful and hard-working young man and was loved by all who knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are three brothers, Drake S. Watters of Carmichaels and Braden W. Brock and Spencer J. Brock, both of Waynesburg; a stepbrother, Joshua Elliott (Melinda) of Monessen; three stepsisters, Kelly Brock of Moon Township, Amanda Willis (Frank) of Blairsville and Rebecca Mastarone (Paul) of Cranberry Township; paternal grandparents Frank and Phyllis Watters; maternal grandmother Mary Vernon; three nephews, Owen, Oliver and Ethan; three nieces, Quinn, Ophelia and Ainsley; and several aunts and uncles.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street, Route 88, Carmichaels, and from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Thursday, July 11, in First United Methodist Church, 101 West South Street, Carmichaels, with the Rev. Dayton D. Mix officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
