Robert C. Shaneyfelt
Robert C. “Bob” Shaneyfelt, 71, of Carmichaels, died Wednesday, July, 10, 2019, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.
He was born March 9, 1948, in Clarksville, East Bethlehem Township, Washington County, a son of the late William J. “Bud” and Margaret A. Luft Shaneyfelt.
Bob was a 1967 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.
He worked as a labored for J&S Sanitation from 1988 to 1998, and then for Waste Management from 1998 until his retirement in 2008.
Bob loved oldies music, fishing, high school sporting events, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers and World Wrestling Entertainment professional wrestling.
He had attended the Clarksville Christian Church at one time.
Bob had formerly lived in the Clarksville and Vestaburg areas.
On June 6, 1998, he married Carole Sue Headley, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Carole, are three siblings, Linda Pinkney of Marianna, William Shaneyfelt of New Stanton and Thomas Shaneyfelt of Clarksville, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Gerald W. Shaneyfelt; three sisters-in-law, Bonnie Shaneyfelt, Mary Frances Shaneyfelt and Leanna Rogers; and a nephew, William Shaneyfelt Jr.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, with the Rev. Betty Riecks officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
