Remove Pitt players

Regarduing the three Pitt football players being charged with assualt and conspiracy, as an alumnus, summa cum laude, of the University of Pittsburgh, I am sickened by this, not only due to the strength of the facts concerning the allegations, but also due to the fact that these guys – members of an unranked, genuinely unremarkable football team – remain with the team, for now.
Better that they be removed as active players, for now.
No matter the position of any team at Pitt, socially repulsive acts such as these should never be tolerated. Pitt is no better than any other school that has buried issues if acts such as these are allowed to go without severe consequences.
