The annual Mt. Lebanon Garden Party was one of the social-event highlights of the summer as friends and patrons of the library gathered to celebrate. The Stardust Swing Band provided the entertainment. The event featured a silent auction for a variety of handcrafted birdhouses as well as raffles for door prizes donated by area vendors and shops. The event preceded the annual garden tour, which featured eight properties abloom with flowers of the season. Proceeds from the garden party and tour benefit Mt. Lebanon Public Library.
