Edwin Scott Linton American Legion Post 175 held the 2020 Pennsylvania American Legion 85th Annual Essay Contest. Students were asked to write an essay using the prompt “Does the U.S. Military receive the respect they deserve?”

Trinity senior Rae Lynn Simpson, daughter of Beth Simpson, took first place in the competition, while Trinity senior Hailey Scott, daughter of Aaron and Beth Ann Scott, took second place.
