Margaret A. Miller

Margaret A. Miller, 81, of Beallsville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, in her home, with her loving family at her side.

She was born January 23, 1939, in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Thomas and Marion Crockett Ramsey.

Marg was a 1956 graduate of Centerville High School and a 1960 graduate of the California State Teachers College now known as California University of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Miller began her teaching career in the Ellsworth School District and went on to teach 33 years, retiring from Beth-Center School District in 1994.She attended the Beallsville United Methodist Church and participated in several Bible study groups. She was a member of the Beallsville Civic Association and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Richeyville Volunteer Fire Department. Marg always looked forward to her weekly card club get togethers. She enjoyed playing games with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed camping at Big Bear Lake Campground. Marg will be remembered for her love of people and caring ways.

On June 25, 1958, she married William “Bill” Miller, who passed away July 2, 2017.

Surviving are two daughters, Tara Fabian (Richard) of Richeyville and MarKay McKee of Beallsville; 12 grandchildren, Christopher Miller (Kristy), Rebecca Babeji (Justin), Bryan McKee (Jamie), Jason Mackey (Andrea), Emily Mackey (Joe), Alexander Miller, Michael Letham, Savannah Letham (Nate), Max Bogol (Brooke), Paige Bogol (Willie), Jennifer Fabian and Dianna Mae Sheehan (Cullen); 12 great-grandchildren, Lola, Landon, Lacee, Jacob, Zoey, Scarlett, Adelaide, Ensley, Alyse, Kamden, Kendra, Abram; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a son, William Warren Miller Jr.; three brothers, Peter D. Ramsey, James Ramsey and Thomas J. Ramsey; one sister, Nancy Wright.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, and from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 6, in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 7. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beallsville Civic Association, P.O. Box 99, Beallsville, PA 15313 or to the Fredericktown Area Public Library, P.O. Box 625, Fredericktown, PA 15333.
