Ida Mae Cerar

Ida Mae “Dolly” Cerar, 89, of Clarksville, died Sunday, November 8, 2020, in North Strabane Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Canonsburg.

She was born November 28, 1930, in Jefferson, a daughter of the late Alvin A. “Pete” and Florence E. Conn Silbaugh.

Dolly was a homemaker.

On May 15, 1948, she married Paul M. Cerar, who died March 2, 2003.

Surviving are five children, Paul M. Cerar Jr. of Waynesburg, Donna M. Cerar Talerico of Upper St. Clair, Joy Cerar Shafer of Mount Ulla, N.C., Terry Cerar of Mercer and Randy J. Cerar of Spring Branch, Texas; seven grandchildren, Candace Cerar Nicholson, Brian Frameli, Chrissy Ogden, Brad Frameli, Natalie Bobek, Kim Bobek and Tori Cerar; six great-grandchildren, Josh Nicholson, Jason Nicholson, Austin Frameli, Chase Frameli, Brandon Frameli and Teagan Ogden; four brothers, Jack Silbaugh, Dave Silbaugh, Alvin “Booner” Silbaugh and William Silbaugh.

Deceased are five brothers, Forest Silbaugh, Barry Silbaugh, Ronald Silbaugh, Thomas Silbaugh and Robert Silbaugh; two sisters, Janet Wheeler and Faye Olschesky.

In following Centers for Disease Control guidelines of limiting people at a time in the funeral home, wearing masks and social distancing, family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, November 12, in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor.

Interment services for family will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 13, in the chapel at Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
