Harriett Lucille Brower, 89, of Washington, died Friday, December 4, 2020, in Premiere Washington Health Center. She was born June 28, 1931, in Wind Ridge, a daughter of Harry D. and Mary Charlotta Graham Polen.

Harriet was a graduate of Richhill Township High School in 1949.

On June 17, 1967, she married William J. Brower, who passed away September 11, 2000.

Surviving are a brother, George A. (Joan) Polen of Tega Cay, S.C.; and a sister, Virginia Lohr of Wheeling, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Harriett was predeceased by her son, Richard Lee Polen; sisters Charlotta Fordyce, Irma Joanne Polen, Irene Cunningham; and brother James Polen.

At the request of the deceased, all services were private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
