James J. Romano Jr.
James J. Romano Jr., 66,, of Washington passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born December 10, 1954, in Washington, a son of the late James J. “Pooch” and Patricia L. Kiger Romano.
Raised in Canonsburg, he lived the past 20 years in Washington. Jim was a Roman Catholic and a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
Prior to his retirement, he sold titanium products for Perryman Co. Partnership for the medical and aerospace industries.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Washington and a member of its golf league. Jim was an avid golfer and mostly enjoyed spending precious time with his grandchildren.
On August 10, 2001, he married Debbie Queen, who survives. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his children, James Harry Romano of Canonsburg, Anthony Joseph Kaskie Jr. of Strabane and Gina Marie Kaskie (Shane Roes) Of Rock Hill, S.C.; grandchildren Kai Anthony and Keira Roes; his two brothers, John (Linda D’Amico) Romano of Canonsburg and Jay (Cathy Cianelli) Romano of Cecil Township; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome from 3 to 7 p.m., the time of a Catholic Blessing Service, Saturday, January 16, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra LFD, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120.
