Joseph Nicholas DiCio Jr., 70, of Canonsburg, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

He was born February 2, 1951, in Canonsburg, a son of Joseph and Goldie Vincenti DiCio.

Joe was a member of St. Oscar Romaro Parish.

He most recently worked as a courier for Heeter Printing.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to camp with his lifelong friends. He was a member of the Canonsburg Sportsman Club. He enjoyed NASCAR, and going to Saturday morning breakfasts with the Borland Manor Gang.

Surviving are his brothers, Thomas (Nancy) DiCio of Washington, Mario Michael (Barbara) DiCio of Lewisville, N.C.; his sisters, Rebecca Lynn (David) Lee of Evergreen, Colo.; sisters Ida Laurie DiCio of Canonsburg and Gemma Marie (Joseph) Smith of Upper Marlboro, Md.; nieces and nephews Vincent DiCio, Lacey Lee, Jessie Lee, Brett DiCio, Douglas (Erica) DiCio, Michele DiCio and Deanna DiCio; great-nieces and nephews Emma, Dani, Reagan and Eleanor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his nephew, T.J. DiCio.

Due to uncertainties associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, there will be no public visitation. Services and burial in St. Patrick Cemetery are private.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a future date when it is safe to gather.

The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, COVID-19 assistance fund, www.pittsburghfoodbank.org, in Joseph N. DiCio Jr.’s name.
