1968 – 2013
Thomas M. Glover, 44, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 6, 2013.
He was born September 29, 1968, in Pittsburgh, a son of Tom and Sally Hartley Glover.
Mr. Glover was a 1986 graduate of Central York High School in York and a 1990 graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. He then graduated from The Greater Cincinnati Culinary Arts Academy.
He was employed as a chef with Panera Bread in Dayton.
Mr. Glover was a devout Christian, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, music lover and gardener. He was compassionate, generous and shared his culinary gifts with everyone.
Surviving are his wife, Jeni Howell Glover; mother-in-law Sharon A. Howell; brother-in-law Steve Howell; an uncle, John Morris; two aunts, Jane Bain and husband Paul and Lura Ann Cree and husband Bill; five cousins, Sharon Bain, Susie Bain, Tammy Christopher and husband Kenny, Billy Cree and wife Ami and David Hartley and wife Amy; and many other loving family members and friends.
He also leaves behind four canine companions, Dieter, Dolly, Tony and Dixie.
Deceased are an aunt, Betty Ann Shema-Morris; an uncle, Harold (Brenda) Hartley; paternal grandparents John and Margaret Morris; and maternal grandparents Noah and Mabel Hartley.
The family will receive visitors from 9 to 11 a.m., the time of a memorial service, Saturday, July 6, in Trotwood Church of the Brethren, 208 East Main Street, Trotwood, OH 45426.
