Helen L. Rife
Helen L. Rife, 82, of Freedom, passed away peacefully, April 11, 2021, in her home, with her family by her side. She was born February 13, 1939, in Holbrook, and was the daughter of the late Glen W. Tedrow and Mary E. Tilton Tedrow of Holbrook.
Helen was a 1957 graduate of West Greene High School. She moved from Ambridge to Freedom in 2015. Helen loved to spend time with her family, enjoyed going to see plays at the theater and taking bus trips to various places.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy D. (John) Kopas of Freedom; sister, Patricia A. (Henry) White of Masontown, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Dorothy Tedrow of Carmichaels; two grandchildren, Joshua A. (Jennifer) Schlifer of South Amherst, Ohio and Chelsea R. (Adam) McClure of Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Remington and Weston.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David G. White; her husband, David H. Rife; and her brother, Glenn F. Tedrow.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC, 3275 W. Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, PA 15359. Telephone: 724-499-5181. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, 1003 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
