Local garden club, business donate potted plants to nursing home staff

Martha Washington Garden Club recently helped Premier Washington Health Center procure 160 potted plants for the nursing home’s entire staff in celebration of National Nursing Home week, which was help May 9 through May 15.

Stimmells Greenhouse provides the club with 160 four-inch potted impatiens, pansies and small rose bushes. The business held onto the plants until Martha Washington Garden Club members were able to deliver them May 10.
