Edna M. Helmick, 83, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

She was born on June 4, 1938 in Jefferson, to the late Thomas and Lotus (nee Callahan) Walters.

Edna will be fondly remembered as an avid sports fan and a true Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Charles Helmick, of 62 years; loving daughters, Jacque Helmick and Judy Meloche; cherished grandchildren, Dana Meloche, Michael Meloche, and Ian Helmick; treasured great- grandchild, Taven Colon; dear siblings John “Buzz” Walters, Cynthia (Robert) Tisza, and Bonnie Scott-Petersen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Bud, James, and Thomas Walters.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Chapel. She will be privately laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
