Robert Anthony Donella
Robert Anthony Donella, 75, of Muse, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in his home.
He was born August 5, 1945, in Canonsburg, a son of Michael and Bridget Legosky Donella.
Mr. Donella was Catholic.
He proudly served his country with the United States Army. Mr. Donella was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191, Polish National Union #116, Labor Temple, Canonsburg Sportsman’s Club, the Russian Club, and several other social and civic organizations.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Golden Living Center in Canonsburg.
On August 24, 1984, he married his loving wife, Cathy Barbour Donella, who survives.
Also surviving are his son, Gregory (Trina) Pareso of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughter, Tracy (John) Ellis of Houston; sisters Marlene (William) Joyce of Virginia Beach, Va., and Elizabeth Dobbins of Chartiers Township; three grandchildren, Rebecca Pareso, Dylan (fiancee Kristine Hutchins) Pareso and Devyn Sedora; a great-grandchild, Asa Marie; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael, Charles and Richard Donella.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 24, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, in the funeral home, followed by burial with full military honors in Oak Spring Cemetery, Canonsburg.
