Pamela Louise McKee Riggans
Pamela “Penny” Louise McKee Riggans, 64, of Slovan, passed away peacefully May 28, 2021, knowing she was loved tremendously by her family and friends.
She was born in Washington, June 14, 1956, a daughter of the late Peter T. and Mary Luckjohn McKee.
Penny was a graduate of Avella High School and had worked the past 18 years at Breezy Heights in Avella, PA.
Penny enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her three “grandbabies” meant the whole whole world to her. She also loved spending time with her little “ween-bag” MJ.
Surviving are her two children and their father, Donald E. (Tatia) Riggans, Jr. of Washington, and Trisha Ann (David) Nazaruk of Emsworth, and Donald E. Riggans, Sr. of Burgettstown. Three grandchildren, Bohdan William Riggans, Conlan Bernhard Riggans, and Kayden Michael Nazaruk. Sisters, Mary Ann (Henry) Dhayer of Avella, and Shelby Jean (William) Huber of Slovan; and her brothers, John “Neeko” (Joann) McKee of Chesterton, Ind., Joseph (Barb) McKee of Chesterton, Ind., and Michael (Erin) McKee of Burgettstown.
Penny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother Peter T. McKee, Jr.
Her children would like to give a special thank you to Penny’s niece Cheryl Vigliotti for consistently being there for her “Aunt Penny” over the past few years providing their Mom with her unwavering support. Their appreciation for all you have done has not gone unnoticed.
A celebration of life for Penny will be held at the Slovan VFW for family and close friends on June 12, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made in Penny’s honor to the Slovan Volunteer Fire Department or the Hillman Cancer Center.
