Richard P. Bucenell
Richard P. “Rick” Bucenell, 74, of Marianna, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Washington Health System.
She was born March 3, 1947, in Waynesburg, a son of the late J. Vincent and Sophia Grudinski Bucenell.
He was a graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School.
Rick worked for Bethlehem Mines #58 until the fire and then went on to work at Shop ‘n Save in the meat department until his retirement.
He was a previous member of Marianna Volunteer Fire Company, where he had served as chief.
Mr. Bucenell loved to golf.
On June 1, 1968, he married Cynthia “Cindy” Pollock, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage before her passing October 12, 2020.
He is survived by a brother, James V. Bucenell Jr. and wife Roberta of Florida; a sister-in-law, Carol Bucenell of Florida; nieces and nephews Rob Bucenell (James), Vince Bucenell (Luree), Jon Bucenell, Jim Bucenell (Sue), Connie Fox and Carolyn Hendricks (John); his beloved dog, Molly; and special friends, Michael and Caitlyn.
Deceased, in addition to his wife Cindy Bucenell and parents, is a brother John J. “Jack” Bucenell.
