Michael R. Morgan Sr.
Michael R. Morgan Sr., 87, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Born in Webster July 23, 1933, he was a son of the late Michael and Virginia Taylor Morgan.
Mickey was retired from the Teamsters Union, working with them for 49 years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Mickey was loved by all and will certainly be missed by all.
He is survived by his sons, Michael R. (Karen) Morgan Jr. of Rostraver and Mark F. Morgan of Newport Richie, Fla.; grandchildren Brandi Lynn Morgan, Mark J. W. (Lindsey) Morgan, Crystal L. Morgan, Mary M. Morgan, Joseph M. Morgan; and great-grandchildren Chase, Luna and Dominic; sisters-in-law Kathy (Harry) Huber of Apple Valley, Calif., and Patty (Jim) Gillingham of Rostraver; and his loving friend and companion, Jean Kinder of Washington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. Debnar Morgan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 16, in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934), www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, with the Rev. Kent Lighthall officiating. Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery.
