Suzanne Ladd
Suzanne Ladd, 79, formerly of Washington, died August 23, 2021, in Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr.
She was born September 30, 1941, in Carmichaels, a daughter of the late Richard Michael Burke and Anna Catherine Moore Burke.
Ms. Ladd graduated from Cumberland Township High School in Greene County, and earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree at UCLA.
She had worked for McDonnell Douglas in their technical writing department.
When younger, Ms. Ladd was a licensed pilot and member of the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.
Ms. Ladd was Presbyterian by faith
Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Lardieri; a brother, Richard J. (Jeanette) Burke; a sister, Deanne Baldwin; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Margaret Burke.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 14th, in Washington Cemetery. Those attending the service should meet at the cemetery office by 10:50 a.m.
