Arthur Lee Gatts
Arthur Lee Gatts, 90, of Claysville, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021. Born September 5, 1931, in Moundsville, W.Va., he was a son of the late Lorrie and Emma Gatts.
He was the loving father of Christine Beck, Sharon Clyde, Cindy Renkert, Jerry Gatts, Larry (Ashley) Gatts, Gary (Jodi) Gatts and Jason Gatts; dear brother of Evelyn Gatts-Hopper and Shirley Gatts-Crouch; loving grandfather and uncle to many loving grandkids, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Oliver Gatts, Ben Gatts, Dorothy Gatts-Leffel and Carl Gatts.
Art served his country in the Army during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed trading horses and saddles, participating in and attending rodeos, raccoon hunting, calling square dances and auctioneering.
A memorial service will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 10, in Claysville Community Center, 212 Main Street, Claysville, PA 15323.
